The first album I bought was Days of Future Passed by The Moody Blues, which includes the tiimeless Nights in White Satin.

My most memorable meal was the slow-cooked lamb on the island of Hvar in Croatia, where we celebrated Manny's 40th birthday with 12 fine folks from down under.

If you are wanting to know about healthy yummy food, I'm probably the right person to talk to.

One guilty pleasure is good quality chocolate (actually- no guilt)

One thing that really baffles me is how texting gets to the end zone; how is it that I can text from Krakow and my daughter receives it in Saskatoon?

My favourite movie for years has been "Little Women". I love the value placed on imagination and heart.

If I could have any superpower, I would choose wisdom. To be able to nurture communities and to live one's own life with the bigger perspective so clear would be awesome.

The first record I bought with my own money:  Survivor "Eye of the Tiger". I was a huge Rocky fan. Then I tripped down the stairs and snapped it in half. I cried the rest of the day. I haven't run with records since.

One of the best things about Saskatoon is: my neighbour Theresa. She shovels my driveway every time it snows just to get some extra exercise. Yes, I've hit the jackpot!

If you want to know about mustard, I'm probably the right person to talk to. I prefer anything grainy.

Favourite Movie: Good Will Hunting

Other groups I drum for: Fireside Singers, Sambatoon Brazilian Drum Group, Sankofa African Drum Troop, Henri Loiselle/Martin Janovsky, my niece (Reese) and my nephew (Teague) whenever they need a good jam.

Random Fact: I have a soft spot in my heart for anyone that writes a song or poem about Saskatoon. I love this place.

My favourite meal: Ethiopian food at Langano Skies in Edmonton. I'm pretty sure I ate everything on the menu. I honestly have dreams about this meal - amazing!

Random Fact: I'm a HUGE Los Angeles Lakers fan!

The first CD I bought: It's tough to remember - it was either the soundtrack to Annie (a movie I watched everyday as a kid), the Carpenters Christmas album - I knew enough to know that Karen Carpenter was an amazing alto - or Will Smith's first album...... Needless to say my taste in music is rather varied.

The best thing about Saskatoon is: the Meewasin trail along the river; it's great for biking and running!
My most memorable meal: my Grand-mère's lunchtime 'Red Soup', which is an alternative tomato-based soup.
Random Fact: I have one pinky finger that is permanently thicker than the other one due to a sports injury, and consequently I cannot take my ring off that finger.
Nickname: Sometimes, my family calls me Elzeye just because it sounds awful and they know it used to bother me.

The first record I ever bought: (that I remember) was Olivia Newton John's, Let's Get Physical...Yes, I am a product of the 80's.

Favourite Movie: I don't really have a favourite movie because I rarely remember them after I've watched them. But I loved the TV series Scrubs.

My guilty pleasures: expensive lattes and full-bodied red wine.

The best thing about Saskatoon is: that you'll run into someone you know wherever you go.

The first cassette I ever owned was: Spice World by the Spice Girls, given to me by my Grandmother for my 6th birthday present.

The best thing about Saskatoon is: walking by the Bessborough during the Saskatoon Jazz Festival, and enjoying the beauty of our city with great music and friends.

If you're wanting to know about: how to make the best Saskatoon berry pie you'll ever consume, I'm probably the right person to talk to.

My guilty pleasure is: eating cookie dough as I bake while listening to Connie Kaldor and dancing in my kitchen.

My most memorable meal was: a curried oyster dish served on my trip to China. The food was fantastic, but the company made the memory a great one.

Strangest talent: My friends would say my knack for growing obscure things in my garden. I love watching things grow and why not literally eat the fruits of your labour?

Random Fact: I have a wonderful cat named Macska, which sound original but is really just Hungarian for cat.

The best thing about Saskatoon is: The size. Not too big and not too small.
The first music I ever bought/owned: Record – The Smurf’s Allstar Show, Eight track – Truck Drivin’ Man,

Cassette – Technotronics – Pump Up the Jam, CD - Petra: Beyond Belief.

What other groups have you done sound for?: Before they released their first album (when they just did worship in their local church) I both played (trumpet) with and did sound for DRENTCH

What other groups do you sing/play with?: I used to play trumpet in a Jazz band and euphonium in a marching band

Most memorable meal: Porkchops, rice, and corn. Doesn't sound exciting but it was the first time I cooked for my (now) wife of almost 9 years.

I direct the Saskatoon Roman Catholic Diocese Choir and have for the past 10 years.
Random Fact #1: I have been a teacher in the Saskatoon Catholic Schools for 21 years. Most recently, at St. Joseph High School as the Choral director.
Random fact #2: I make a great Saskatoon Pie - using my mother's recipe!

If you could have any superpower which would you choose?: I would choose invisibility.

Guilty pleasure: Netflix and iTunes.

One thing that really baffles me is: how Louise Bitz can be reading the wrong sheet of music but still be playing the right song.

First record I bought was:  A Jimi Hendrix cassette. Not sure which one but it had the Star-Spangled Banner and it blew my little mind

If you want to know about: Random useless trivia I'm the guy to talk. That's pretty much all that's in my head, not useful stuff like math or science. No one in the choir plays trivia against me anymore.

Favourite movie: Breakfast Club, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Pitch Perfect, 10 Things I Hate About You. There's really just too many to start listing them all.

What's your strangest talent?: I can do a really high-pitched whistle that really annoys people. I'm good at annoying people

First tape I ever bought: I am dating myself in answering this one - first tape was The Pursuit of Happiness. Bought it at the same time as I bought my first ghetto blaster :)

If you want to know about:  Anything about Ultrasound or Diagnostic Imaging in general I'm the gal to talk to

The best meal I ever had:  At my brother-in-law's 2 years ago.  He did a smoked prime rib that was absolutely mind blowing! 

If you could have any superpower which would you choose?: The ability to heal both mind and body
